Instead of presidential debates, how about if we get the candidates to play this game on live TV? |
This game and sims3 will certainly help sell a lot of hardware over the next few years |
I do not think it will sell very much hardware ? (well maybe the game itself is more demanding then the creature creator thing ?) my son runs it on his PC an old Athlon 3500+ with 2GB's of ram and a Radion X1600 Pro 512MB's on Vista 64. |
The difference between the creature creator and the actual game could be as drastic as the performance difference between the character editors in EQ/WoW character vs. attending a full raid. It will probably look a lot nicer on a high-end system. |
Maybe not spore but when the sims 3 comes out there will be thousands for people that could care less about there computers all of a sudden wanting something faster.

Could be.... I do recall that Sims 2 was quite a leap from the requirements of the Sims (and the very reason I got my wife a new machine!). Guess we'll have to see how Sims 3 goes... and if she's going to make me build her a better machine to play it. :) |

My girlfriend will be getting a rebuild for sims 3 for sure. She is playing the new sims 2 apartment life pack now. We went to 4 different stores to find one that wasn't sold out. The sims is a BIG deal for a lot of people. |
Point made. Alot of hardware is about to be ssold. There are alot of folks still playing sim2 on minium specs or close to it and quite a few have been waiting for these 2 games before upgrading. I have had alot of discussion with my customers over the last 6 months for spore alone about there upgrade paths. |
