I could care less about their Media Hub, but I care a lot about it having voice. I guess we'll have to import the European version and use it with a regional carrier. I hope some day the justice department breaks up the collusion between the major carriers. If there was a competitive landscape, one of them would have opted for voice....none of them did. |

I agree completely with the previous post. As excitedly as I've been waiting for this device's release, it's an absolute no-go without voice, and if Samsung thinks they'll corner 10% of the tablet market and 10 million units sold the first year, they'll soon realize that they'll have to pressure carriers to relent and allow voice. Otherwise it's just another device that replaces nothing and requires a duplicate data service. I'll wait for the first 7" footprint tablet with voice service and be the first in line. |

Interesting thoughts and comments Jay and RD. Any others have thoughts on this? There are a few tablets out there with just WiFi even. |

I wouldn't want voice on something this huge. It's unlikely I would be carrying this behemoth around and i'm not gonna pay extra to have voice service on something I rarely use for voice. Something like this would mostly stay at home with me and i'd use it while sitting on the couch watching tv lol Or while travelling. |

At 380 grams(454=1lb)it will hardly cause any strain to carry. Naturally it's larger than a cell phone and it's not intended to be a replacement. I take my LG X140 10.1" netbook almost everywhere I go. I'd actually prefer a 10" Galaxy Tab |
If that was directed at me, I was implying it is physically too large(it's dimensions) for me to carry around all the time. Weight would not be the issue... but I can't fit it in my pocket and I refuse to carry a purse. I agree tho, that i would like to see a 10" Galaxy Tablet. 7" seems to small for me as a tablet, yet too big to fit in your pocket. |
