Razer's Latest Cans Aimed at Attention Seeking Gamers, Music Buffs
Razer's new Orca headphones have more going for them than just an attention-getting green exterior. They're purportedly comfortable to wear, and you can switch between gaming at home and listening to music on the go without worrying about getting all tangled up with the cable. That's because Razer includes two sets of braided cables for the Orca headphones, including a shorter, standard cable for plugging into your MP3 player while you groove down the block, and a longer, 2 meter extension (a little over 2.5 feet) when you want to get your game on.
"The Razer Orca marks Razer's foray into the lifestyle audio world," said Robert Krakoff, president, Razer USA. "We specifically designed the Razer Orca for the consumer who demands unmatched comfort and the utmost style, who also happens to game. We wanted a pair of headphones that could transition from your gaming den to the subway by adding a cool look to great gaming sound."
On the tech spec side, the new Orca headset comes rated with a frequency response of 15 - 21,000Hz and includes 40mm drivers with neodymium magnets. Razer's offering up the headphones in pre-order form for $60, with an estimated ship date sometime between August 16 - 20.

Wow, those are hideous. I personally went with a black motif for my setup, so everything I own, including my headphones are black. I'd feel awkward wearing them even if I was alone, like when I'd see my blurry reflection during a load-screen and see this nuclear, swamp-thing green thing on my head. |

i like the look but wouldnt like wearing these headsets outside during the summer months......or any other time of the year. i use one of there old headset that look like this pair and they feel fantastic, and sound fantastic. |
