Razer Lands Trio Of Transformer 3-Centric Accessories

Razer has never been one to turn down a beautiful partnership, once teaming up with the folks surrounding the TRON movie in order to introduce some rather spectacular looking peripherals. Now, the company is trying a similar approach with Hasbro, with the two teaming to reveal Transformers 3-centric accessories. The first is the Razer DeathAdder: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Collector’s Edition Gaming Mouse, which has a 3500dpi 3.5G infrared sensor, 1000Hz Ultrapolling with 1ms response time, 5 Hyperesponse buttons, and On-the-Fly sensitivity adjustments. Of note, it's a right-handed mouse, so southpaws will need to look elsewhere. It'll be available in four character "colors": Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Shockwave for $59.99 starting right about now.

Then, there's the Razer Vespula: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Collector’s Edition Gaming Mouse Mat, which provides two distinct gaming-grade surfaces on an abrasion-resistant hard coat to suit your preferred swipe style – SPEED for smoother fast-paced action, maximizing freedom of movement; and CONTROL for ultra-precise movements and tactile feedback with its textured surface.  The speed-enhancing surface of the Razer Vespula: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Collector’s Edition is embossed with a design of Optimus Prime representing the Autobots, and the control-precise side embossed with a design of Megatron representing the Decepticons, and it is shipping now for $34.99.

Finally, the Razer Laptop Case: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Collector’s Edition is made of a flexible hard weave with a zip seal to ensure your precious game-destroying machine is well protected on the go, and easily accessible for quick deployment.  Available in four colors, two embossed with a chrome metallic faction logo of the Autobots, two of the Decepticons’. That one is also shipping now for $49.99.

The last movie I watched was the 3D version of the Transformers movie & that was a really good movie. As for being a fan, I am not & the only thing I like about these collector edition mice is their color range. The dpi & so on are not the top specifications that you can get now, so if you'd wanted one it would be for the colors only for me, but for others that are fans of this cartoon idea when it came out you would really like this collector;s edition. There is a madman that has a transformers car at a place that I used to work at. When I first seen it, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was blue & had transformer decals over. I think that it may of been a special edition that was brought out a long time ago. I forget the brand of the car though.

As much as I love Razer, I really don't like these line of products. Transformers are cool and everything but I wouldn't buy a $60 mouse for it. Just my opinion however. I'm sure many people bought them haha

Whilst these Razer ones are decent, they honestly are way too plain.  The Optimus Prime mod that I'm doing for the Thermaltake and modders-inc. mod competition will give a much better representation to what a TF mouse and kb should look like.  Whilst I've been forced to go low-budget on my mods, I think that they'll still far out-do the Razer products.  The only issue, is that if someone were to purchase them as a retail product, they'd cost more than these, lol.  I'm using the Tt Black Element mouse and Challenger Ultimate keyboard, and if they added the price of the customizations, it's likely to up the prices ~$20 roughly, if not more.  Then again, mass production would allow for a lower price range, as the cost of production would be greatly reduced.  Either way, it would still absolutely crush these Razer editions.  I'd also had plans to use a R.A.T.7 Contagion to mod into a sweet Bumblebee mod, however after a majorly poorly handled situation with Mad Catz and Cyborg, that's a no-go.  Let's just say I'm boycotting them now ;).
