ROCCAT announced the Savu, a hybrid mid-sized gaming mouse, which ROCCAT CEO René Korte calls “The planet’s premiere mid-size gaming mouse – period”. The rest of the press release is just as effusive, but the Savu does boast some serious features.

For starters, the mouse has true 400, 800, 1600 and 4000 DPI, as well as an R3 sensor and Omron switches. With Easy-Shift[+] technology, users can assign two functions to each mouse button for expanded capabilities, and it also provides a sniper mode for better headshot accuracy.


ROCCAT is taking the mouse experience to the max with the addition of the ROCCAT Achievements Display (R.A.D.) software, which actually tracks your mouse activities while gaming and delivers rewards for skilled mouse movement, scroll steps, and more.
