Proof Of LG's Nexus 4 Spotted On Google +

LG's Nexus 4 smartphone hasn't exactly been kept a secret. Last week, the phone appeared in U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse's inventory system. The phone has also appeared on a Web site in Belarus which claims to have obtained an LG Nexus 4.

Now, thanks to pictures posted on Google +, the name has all but been confirmed as well. Over the weekend, Jason Parks, a software engineer who works for Google, posted pictures of his son sleeping to his Google + page. A quick look at the EXIF data reveals the images were taken with the Nexus 4. Photos with similar EXIF data were also posted to the web by an LG employee, though those have since been taken down. Given all of the leaks, it appears the only thing left for LG to do is formally announce and launch the phone.

The Nexus 4 is expected to look similar to LG's Optimus G smartphone and feature a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch display, 2GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera. Rumors have suggested the Nexus 4 could be the first smartphone to run Android 4.2, which hasn't been released yet.

The latest reports suggest the LG Nexus 4 will officially be revealed on October 29.
