Color us a shade of skeptical, but for what it's worth, a case manufacturer claims to have gotten its hands on a photo of Apple's
super secret plastic iPhone. The lower cost iPhone has been through the rumor mill
several times and it's been suggested the budget phone will be made of polycarbonate plastic instead of metal and glass, the latter of which is more expensive to build.
The rumors persisted even after Apple's senior VP of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller, stated
that lower cost iPhone models would "never be the future of Apple products." However, as the summer inches closer, speculation about Apple's next round of handsets has been increasing in frequency, and for the first time, we have a possible image of what a budget iPhone might look like.

The single shot shows a uniform plastic chassis with rounded corners similar in style to older iPhone models, though the back appears flatter than the polycarbonate iPhone 3G/3GS. Tactus claims to have also discovered that it will wield an A5 processor just like the iPad mini, and will be available in a range of colors, including black, white, blue, red, and yellow.
Any thoughts on the design, if it does indeed turn out to be real?
