I am looking forward to SSD but it's still way WAY over priced at the moment.

I wonder how far this technology can be taken? Flash or solid state data storage has improved significantly over the past few years. Still it will need to increase in storage capabilities and drop in price greatly before it can be considered for hard drive applications other than in portable devices such as laptops.
