Need NAS Access From Your iPhone? Thecus Goes Mobile with T-OnTheGo App for iOS

Hot on the heels of our recent three-way NAS box roundup, Thecus, one of the participants, just launched an "advanced mobile application" that will allow iPhone and iPad users to have full access to transfer files and stream data right from their mobile device. The app is called T-OnTheGo, and so far it's only available in iOS form.

Whether you are close or away from your NAS, T-OnTheGo makes it convenient to back up all sensitive data," Thecus explains.


We were already impressed with the N4800 NAS box Thecus sent us, and if you happen to own an iPhone or iPad device, this app is a great little addition. To use it, you have to install a T-OneTheGo module on the NAS box. Once it's setup, you can upload and download files, stream audio and video, and backup data, all from your iOS device. And like the N4800, the mobile app's interface is a breeze to navigate.

T-OnTheGo is free to download and available now in iTunes. No word on when or if Thecus plans on launching an Android and/or Windows Phone version.
