"Dad," Huang's then 13-year-old son Spencer, an avid gamer, wrote on a sticky note stuck to the page, "I think you need to kick it up a notch."

Ati was in the lead in 2003 for sure, just one year after surprising the world with the Radeon 9700 that ran circles around the GeForce 4 Ti4600. Thanks to the recent Radeon HD 38x0 line, ATI is still the card to choose for a $170-$220 price range imo. But Nvidia still has the other price points, and has dominated the year. If you wanna drop $300+ on a card, Nvidia is your company. The 8800 line is proving legendary. Nvidia is worthy of this praise. |

Having Forbes name you co. of the year is pretty huge, but the honor is deserved as Nvidia has delivered the goods with the 8 series. I'm no fanboy though so if Ati's next gen top tier card rules the roost, I'm gettin me 1! |

Hi All Agreed, having Forbes name you as company of the year is a big honor, however I've got to believe that AMD/ATI are hard at work to improve their product & become more competitive with Nvidia. |
