I have two iMac's in my family, and even after 1 million have downloaded it, and a very reasonable price tag (compared to WIN7), I'm still Wary. I feel like it's going to take away alot of what I can do on the Mac's since all the apps go through the "apple apstore" Anyone on HotHardware have Lion up and running yet with some information to share? |

We just got it at work on our shared mac. I really don't have much to report because it's so new, we've come across a few network issues but I don't have details. Reading a few forums showed that other companies were having the same problem. I'll keep you posted if we come accross anything major. If I were you I'd wait maybe a month or two for them to sort the first kinks out. On a side note I wish windows was only $29!!! What do you mean it's going to take away what you can do? |
"Yeah, and hey, here's a link to an extensive and comprehensive review on Lion from Anandtech, hope that helps, but do take Drakes advice." http://www.anandtech.com/show/4485/back-to-the-mac-os-x-107-lion-review -Optimus |

I'm currently running it and as far as I can tell It is running pretty smooth, One problem I have is it takes a little longer to boot. This could either be the program or me not clearing up my hard drive recently |

Good deal I like Apple in the OS space it is for this reason Microsoft released a wonderful Windows 7 with features we all love as they themselves have stared they listened to what their customers wanted from a OS. Vista was a joke as Microsoft rested on their laurels for waaayyyyy to long and had to clean up the Vista mess. Kudos Apple keep up the good work. |
