LiteOn SOHW-1653S 16X DVD-RW, Ultra Retractable Cables, 'n more

Well folks, once again I've been stuck in the house all day since the snow/sleet mix is still coming down. Oh well, more time to play Metroid I guess. Well I've run out of things to say now as I'm getting fairly tired... you'd think being in the house all day wouldn't wear you out... apparently not. On with the news!

Sunbeam Tech Transformer Case Review @ BigBruin.Com

"The Sunbeam Tech Transformer Case is quite appealing, and is something of a hybrid case. It has the enormous size, strength, and room for drives like a server, but has the edgy styling, lighting effects, and tool-less installation features of a gaming case. Could it be the offspring of a server and a LAN rig?"

LiteOn SOHW-1653S 16X DVD Writer @ Techniz

"Today, we are reviewing their dual latest DVD writer drive. The LiteOn SOHW-1653S DVD dual layer drive is capable of writing the DVD R Dual Layer at 4X. Beside that, it also capable of writing the DVD-R media at 12X. The rest of the data transfer rate is similar with the SOHW-1633S DVD writer."

Ultra Retractable Cables @ Viper Lair

"People in general like things to be somewhat organized. Be it your house, or the cabling on the computer, things definitely have their place. Now your computer can look awesome on the inside, but the rats nest of cables on the outside draw away the attention. Or you are someone on the go, and need to carry the least amount of stuff possible. These are the markets that the Ultra cables are aimed at."

Corsair, OCZ, Kingston CL2 TCCD Memory Shootout @ VR-Zone Hardware

"Our max FSB overclocking results showed a difference of 7MHz between the Kingston HyperX KHX3200UL sticks and the Corsair XMS 3200XL Pro. The OCZ EL DDR PC 3200 Platinum Revision 2 was right in the middle of the two, running at a max speed of 280MHz."

Athlon XP reaches end of its existence @ The Inquirer

"To those of you are always able to afford high end machines, this may not seem like such a big deal, but for me and many others it is a sad day(well, not really sad, just the beginning of an end). We all knew it was coming sometime, so it's time to say goodbye to a very memorable series of chips that helped many of us get an awesome system for a great price. I'll be getting an A64 motherboard and processor this winter, but my overclocked Athlon XP 2600 (mobile of course) will find new life in my second machine." - Matt
