Lenovo's 9" IdeaPad A2109 Tablet Brings Tegra 3 And Android 4.0 For $299

Another round edge device here i smell lawsuite. Lol. The specs of this product are ok. Not bad but not that good either. Itrs marketed competitively. But lenovo is a quality company that builds nice craftsmanship. I would rather get this than an ipad. Never going to get an appke product if its the last thing id do.

I agree Nicole on the Apple thing completely. This price point though is interesting to me! I will bet the lower end version of the Surface comes in at about the same thing. There has been much speculation that it will come in at the $199 one and compete with the Kindle fire but I bet $299 would be more comfortable financially and now a competitor to it is being intro'd at that price. One thing that has confounded me completely is the prices of Android slate units as they have in general been way to high. I know, I know Apple products are successful at high prices but they deal with an entirely different demographic in general. As far as the courts in Cupertino finding Samsung guilty of anything against Apple if you go into a bee hive sans protection you will get stung (they should have never let it go to court in APPLE's hometown as it is generally considered a god (and god's generally can do no wrong (especially when the judges are there core worshipers) there)!

That thing is powerful enough to do most tasks you could throw at it, really. The higher-end, higher-specced tablets may do the job better, but for an entry level product this thing looks awesome!

I;ve been extremely happy with my 7-inch IdeaPad A1107 so this might just be the next tablet on my want list.
