IBuyPower Intros Three New Budget Gamer Desktops
IBuyPower just began offering up Dragon-based gaming machines earlier
this month, but now it's announcing three new machines for those with
tighter budgets. The newest desktops in the Gamer series will all be
made available exclusively through NewEgg.com, and none of them will break
the $1000 barrier.
Starting things off is the Gamer Power 505 ($519.99), which was built specifically for entry level gamers who will be perfectly content with the Athlon 5000+ platform and the Medusa Gaming Tower. Inside, users will find a stylishly lit interior (viewable through a side window), a back lit front panel, an NVIDIA 9500GT video card, 4GB of DDR2 RAM and a 320GB SATA II hard drive. Next up, we've got the Gamer Power 903 ($499), which features Intel's Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz processor, an NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS graphics card, and is housed in a painted Vantage Case with a detailed Halo 2 side panel graphic.
Finally, we've got the Gamer Extreme 968i ($979.99), which caters to the mid-level gamer who has the means to enjoy a Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz CPU, NVIDIA's GeForce 9800GT and the aforementioned Vantage enclosure. All three machines come bundled with a 1600DPI gaming mouse, keyboard and a three year warranty. All three can be ordered now, and we've posted detailed specifications below for each.

Yeah that is a nice deal. Whats up with the Halo 3 sticker? It's not even a PC game. Also kinda weak cards in the first two. Why not have a Core2Duo and a faster GPU if you are going to call it Gamer Power. |
