I heard about this awhile ago. I think it is an interesting concept. Are there any reports on how efficient the cooling actually is? it looks great on paper but I won't make any judgment on it until I see an actual CPU running with this and some real temperature data numbers. |

Dont the make nonconductive liquids that are also non corrosive that would be more practical? |

Some of it went over my head, but stacking chips and fitting a cooling layer between them is what I got out of it. Stacking makes sense. I have thought about how they planned to fit many cores on the small chips of today. I was envisioning something like a return to the slot system of Pentium III or old Athlon's, but this is far cooler. |

Well the reason they moved away from the slots was because of thermal creep. The CPUS kept pushing themselves out of the sockets over time as they were powered on and off. I still think this technology is many years off though. |
