Hulu Plus joins the likes of Netflix, YouTube, and other popular streaming services already available on Apple TV, adding the hardware device to its portfolio of supported products that include Roku, various tablets, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and more.
"For those of you who are new to the service, Hulu Plus is the only online premium video subscription that streams current and classic TV programming on demand from hundreds of content partners, including top broadcast networks ABC, NBC, FOX, The CW and Univision," Hulu stated in a blog post announcing its availability on Apple TV.
To enjoy Hulu Plus on Apple TV (or any other supported device), you have to pony up for a paid subscription, which runs $7.99/month "with limited advertising." Yes, short commercial breaks are part of the deal, just as they are with paid cable and satellite television.
