Just a reminder folks! In conjunction with our good friends at AMD, Corsair, and Western Digital, we're giving away yet another full, quad-core system this month! This time around, you could win a full AMD Phenom X4 9750-based system, complete with a GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card and a brand new Western Digital Black Edition hard drive!
The complete parts list and breakdown is listed below! As we've done with previous sweepstakes, we’ll be giving away this rig away to a randomly selected contributor to our on-line forum and discussion systems, but like last month there's a twist (see below):

From this point forward, we’ll be monitoring discussions on the site and forum and will be randomly selecting a winner. You can increase your chances of winning by signing up for our HotHardware RSS News Alerts. Finally, to coincide with the upcoming Independance Day holiday, we're going to give extra credit to anyone who makes a charitable contribution to the Disabled American Veterans Fund. Make a donation - of any size - and forward a copy of your receipt to this e-mail address for another chance to win. Donations are NOT a requirement to win, but with Independence Day coming up we thought this was a good opportunity to give something back to the military. We here at HotHardware will be making a contribution to the DAV fund as well. The winner of the rig will be announced Monday, July 7.

yeah nice system and I have my X2 oc'd to 2420x2 easy to just up the voltage one on my dfi bios so should be easy to oc anyway nice system and good luck to everyone on winning it :) |

Good luck everyone, lol and to the people who have a problem winning this exact rig I'm sure if you wanted to pay extra for a black box processor or something they'd accomodate you. Seeing as there not getting a dime from you for just sending you the system. |

The drawing moves closer every day such a sweet system and HH's dedication to giving it's loyal user base a chance of winning one is awesome. Hey and everyone don't let the Memorial day donations to the disabled veterans slack either. Any donation on that front is very appreciatted I just got my paper receipts for the two donations I made. You would be astounded at the population numbers for disabled veterans who got that way defending your and mine way of life in our great country. |

They usually do the right job picking the winner, I have faith this time as well. Also If it happens to go to me I will ship Ice the gts 320 that it comes with if he still has not gotten his card replaced. I already have a 640, there is no reason for me to keep both. nah, its ok im sure there are other people more deserving of it than me, after all i did win the system. my 7950 is keeping me chugging along for now. im sure everything will get sorted out eventually :-) cant wait till next week and i can finally run crysis :-)

mario said it should ship out friday.i dont think im getting anything extra, id just be happy to finally play dx10, and also get to use my other computer since im using that video card. im glad crysis got his rig straightened out himself though.

Well the date is getting closer and closer for the win and every time I look at the specs it gets more exciting.I myself would totally flip to win such a powerful rig.I definately would never get rid of it.Matter of fact if I was to croak I would put it in my will which would read total assets my truck and the Beast.Id give my truck to my boy and this beast to my daughter.Guarenteed she would never get rid of it.She loves a fast PC and she,s a Daddys girl.Anyway as usual Good luck to everyone here! Wish my DAV receipt would get here so I could submit it before the drawing date! Also, if I win, I'd be happy to offer up some of my old hardware. This includes: -The AMD Athlon X2 5000+ that I won in last months' contest. It's still in the unopened box (can't afford the motherboard upgrade required right now). -ATI Radeon X800XT 512MB. I realize this is not the latest and greatest (doesn't even run Crysis or BioShock...but it runs TF2!!), but is still a decent card and would be given to someone with an AGP based system that would benefit from such an upgrade. -Creative Labs X-Fi Xtreme soundcard. -I would offer up my motherboard/processor combo (ASRock DualSATA 939 + AMD Athlon 4000) but I don't think anyone would want them. If I am wrong, then I would offer those up as well. If such a thing were to take place, all I ask is that the recipient pay for HALF of the shipping costs. |

Yeah the system is nice and drawing time is getting close. Everyone please remember the give to the disabled vets or any veterans charity you choose. I donated in memorial for my father and grandpa and will probably do the same for my father in-law who passed away a couple weeks ago now. Oh and Props to the Marine core for the respect an gallantry shown at the funeral. Anyways back to this nice rig good luck to everyone. |
Sorry to hear about your loss! On the last contest I wanted to donate the money just wasnt there but here come the 1st of next week I will send something! It might not be a lot but it will be something! Seeing how my brain evades me sometimes Big Wop and Davo if you dont here from me by Tuesday be sure to refresh my memory! Hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July. We're driving up to MD to visit my parents and have a family B-day party for my son who just turned 8. He already had a party for his friends down here. I'll try to keep checking in but being gone all weekend and then leaving for Hawaii in less then a week now so I probally won't be around much for several weeks. sorry guys. try not to miss me to much |

I have a feeling this months giveaway may not be as easy to choose a winner. Everytime I check on the top post counts on the forums someone different is at the top of the list. Now granted, I know it doesn't solely go off that but generally thats the individuals who have been winning. Just saying I personally haven't seen any 1 individual stand out way above the others. It may be a close one ya'll guess we'll see here soon enough. I just would like to see the winner announced before I leave for my trip Wed. |

I don't know exactly how it works but I think they look at post count and how much of your posts are actually beneficial to the forums to determine. I doubpt they just look at the highest post count over the month but I do know that every person that has won over the past several months has had the highest # of posts on most of the days I check the forums. However they are doing it I think it has been very fair to all the members eligable. I say it that way cause I know there are a bunch of members that aren't eligable due to location but unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about that. It is what it is. Either way I have no doupbt that this months winner will deserving of such a sweet rig. |
