There have been 19 reports of the batteries overheating, including 17 reports of flames/fire (10 resulting in minor property damage). Two consumers experienced minor burns.Check out the full list below. It's pretty long, bug only consists of about 35,000 batteries in the US --- for now. Let's hope it stays that way. This USCPC recall is for 35,000 batteries. However, according to Sony, an additional 2,000 faulty batteries were shipped in the Japanese market, and another 63,000 went to consumers in other regions, including Europe and Asia. Recall notices for those other regions are expected shortly.
