HTC One Max 6-inch Android Smartphone Review

We all want more from our smartphones. Whether it’s more screen real estate, more battery life, a better camera, or more storage for pictures, videos, and games, it seems there’s always something we could use more of from our phones. Manufacturers are constantly striving to deliver the best device, touting the areas in which they’ve provided “more.”

HTC designed its One Max with demanding users in mind. This smartphone boasts “more screen size, more camera, more everything” according to the company. With its 5.9-inch screen and 3300mAh battery, the One Max is in line to compete with other phablet devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3...

Another unique feature of the HTC One is the integrated fingerprint reader which unlocks the phone. It’s located on the back of the device just below the camera.

SOOO.... what is the purpose of the removable back if the battery is not user replaceable? The back is just to get to the microSD card? Sounds like added weight and weaker overall structure just for that one purpose. I really like the HTC One lineup far better than the Samsung Galaxy lineup. I wish HTC went with the snapdragon 800 but they are trying not to focus on the high end of the market anymore so I suppose the 600 is good enough and offers better battery life without sacrificing too much performance. A removable back though is a big BIG no-no for me even when battery can be swapped but this makes even less sense.

I disagree about the removable back casing, as long as the battery can be removed and swapped out, or even for a hard reset situation. But a removable back just for SIM card access or whatever and no removable battery is a big let down for me.

I’d prefer Snapdragon 800, but as its featuring 4G LTE and Fingerprint Scanner, so it's OK. Under $249.99 price I think HTC One Max will hit. My friend is using it and I really adore it as it can run many High-Quality games, so no problem with it.

it is more elegant, beautiful, has a camera further than the galaxy note 3, pity its battery is not removable
