HTC One (M7) Press Images Leaked Before Launch

The Internet is terrible at keeping secrets, tripping up even at the last minute. To wit, HTC today is expected to formally introduce its newest handset, the HTC One (M7), but press images of the device have broken cover just hours before its release. Here's a look at one, courtesy of a French website that first posted the photos.

Barring a really good Photoshop job, which would be pointless at this stage, the HTC One is a pretty nice looking smartphone that will come in two color options. You can also make out the front-facing speakers, which should definitely help when watching videos.

The Internet is leaving little to surprise regarding the HTC One's launch later today. Based on what we already know, or think we know about the HTC One, this will be the company's flagship device for the immediate future. It's said to have a 5-inch HD display, 1.7GHz quad-core SnapDragon Pro processor, 13MP rear-facing camera, uni-body aluminum chassis, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, putting it in position to compete with Samsung (Galaxy S III and even the Galaxy Note II) and Apple (iPhone 5).

Final confirmation will come later today, but we're expecting the HTC One to launch on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint with 32GB of internal storage for $200 on a two-year contract, or 64GB for $300.
