Well of course when Microsoft bought Skype, Google knew that it had to do something least it dominates it's turf with it's easy to use application, huge social base and outdated "clever" Microsoft jokes that are somehow relevant now; so it acted fast and it did this. In all honesty, I can't wait to see where this competition heads. |

they need to make an iPad app, so I could use that and not have to have an iPhone! |
Probably mentioned this when MS bought Skype, but my Skype credits have been unused since last year. Zero problems with free Google service and judging by the amount of people impressed by my generous long distance calls, there might be enough of a market that Skype could survive. Might be a while until Microsoft earns back their more than one dollar per human being on the planet though. |
