Gigabyte, which just unveiled
its next generation AMD AM3 "Dragon"
motherboard, has big plans for next week's CeBIT
expo in Germany. Aside
from showing its latest range of high performance, low working
temperature motherboards featuring its proprietary Ultra Durable 3
Technologies, it's also planning a sneak peek at the first AMD platform
DDR3 solution, known as the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P. Of course, they'll be
plenty of AM3 and Core i7 motherboard demonstrations, most notably its
flagship X58 mobo, the GA-EX58-EXTREME.
Said board features its new Hybrid Silent-Pipe 2, which is
described as a "fusion thermal solution that combines Gigabyte's
proprietary screen cooling technology, external heat sink and liquid
cooling with chipset water block to deliver maximum thermal
performance." As expected, the company will also have its newest AM3
boards on hand, which should give attendees a good look at what it can
squeeze out of a Phenom II processor from AMD. The full press release
is listed below, and by the looks of it, this should be a fairly
stellar show for Gigabyte
