True but give it time. These products will come down eventually. Also, if money is no object, this could be the single most effective speed-up you could make to a system in terms of responsiveness. |

Make it ~160 GB at 400-500ish $ and this piece is THE way to go and can really target consumer market...there r many crazy Enthusiast out there already equipped with 2 Velociraptors or even more crazy Hardware Setups... and of course every Workstation would love such a fine Disk under the Hood :) I personally am considering even THIS Disk...900 bucks is a lot of cash, i agree ...but 500MB/s write/ read speed...damn i think i just wet myself ;) |
