Forget Dragons, Here’s the Girl with the Photoshop Tattoo

Do you know who's cooler than the girl with the dragon tattoo? Megan Orsi, a former student at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts who's currently a wife and mother to an 18-month-old son. Orsi's also a Photoshop user and is so passionate about the program that she had a Photoshop toolbar tattooed on her arm. She's now known as "the girl with the Photoshop tattoo," a distinction that Adobe embraced as it sought her out for a short interview.

The biggest question on everyone's mind has got to be, why get a Photoshop tattoo?

"Honestly? I’ve always loved tattoos," Orsi explains. "I read an article a while ago about biggest regrets in life. The No. 1 regret was 'Not having the courage to live the life THEY wanted to live – not the one someone else wanted them to live.' I started thinking about all the things I had really wanted to do and said, 'WHY NOT?!' I’ve always felt like my creative person on the inside, didn’t match my outside and if I wanted something, why not do it! I have one other tattoo and I’m pretty adamant about my tattoos meaning something to me."

For Orsi, Photoshop represents what's been a lifelong passion in creative arts. She first started using Photoshop around 16 years ago when she was in middle school, and she continues to use the program today, as a web designer and a front-end web developer. She designs sites in Photoshop, among other things. That is, when she's not chasing around her toddler son wielding an awesome tattoo that, incidentally, she designed herself.
