ECS PF21 Extreme 925XE, GeForce 7800 GT Comparison, and more!
Hey folks, I can't get back to sleep so I'm going to clean out the news box. Goodnight!
"Today at GamePC, we've compared two new GeForce 7800 GT cards which hit the market last week. From Asus, we have the Extreme N7800 GT card, and from eVGA, we have their e-GeForce 7800 GT. Both cards run off an nVidia reference design, but differ in terms of clock speeds, bundled hardware, and appearance. We test these cards in single card and SLI card scenarios against other high-end nVidia and ATI cards."
"ECS have put together a very stable and well rounded package with the PF21 Extreme. It is very overclocker friendly due to the huge amount of BIOS tweaks available to the user. Being the underdog, the PF21 is priced less than similiar specced boards from the more well known manufacturers, this makes the ECS PF21 Extreme an excellent choice whether you are a novice overclocker or a seasoned vet."
"OCZ has delivered another kickass product and while some of the testing showed that 4x UTT using 2-2-2-5 with 2T settings was a faster alternative when running 2GB, when using TCCD we were limited in our overclocking even when both kits can do 300 on their own. Also, not all motherboards will provide the 3.1 volts UTT needed to run these speeds."
"Sporting an Arctic Cooling unit and a handpicked GPU that meets the highest standards, the ASUS Extreme N7800 GTX TOP aims to rule the graphics arena with its aggressive clock speeds. Hold tight, get your speedometers ready and read on to find out the new definition of speed."
"We continue our detailed roundups of 17" flat-panel monitors. Today we will look at 16 solutions from LG, Samsung, Sony, Viewsonic, Mitsubishi, NEC, and a few others. For the first time in our lab we are proud to introduce to you a monitor from ASUS."
