Droid 4 Lands On Verizon Wireless Network This Friday
We've heard about the Motorola Droid 4 for a while now, but only recently did we get an official release date for this phone. This new smartphone will be available this Friday, February 10. As you may recall, the Motorola Droid 4 claims to be the thinnest and most powerful 4G smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard.
The Droid 4 measures less than a half inch thick and features a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, a 4.0-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. Motorola intends to upgrade the phone to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at some point in the future. The phone will launch with a price that's a penny shy of $200 with a two-year agreement and compatible plan. A Lapdock is available separately for about $300.

The Lapdock even features a built-in webcam so customers can attend virtual meetings and manage their business face-to-face.
The Smart Actions app on the DROID 4 helps automate everyday tasks and optimizes battery efficiency by letting customers create rules, such as automatically setting the phone to vibrate during work hours or dimming the display at a specific battery level.
