Console gamers haven’t had to think about the issue of backwards compatibility much in recent years, as both Microsoft and Sony haven’t bothered to release new consoles for a long time. Although it’s not exactly everyone’s favorite company at the moment, Electronic Arts will reportedly continue to make games for the current generation of gaming consoles. According to GameSpot, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen told a crowd at the Stifel 2013 Technology Conference confirmed that the company will keep publishing games through 2017, and possibly later.
