Seems like a cool Idea. |

any word on HD movies? |
Good question. I don't like all that HD content sitting there on my hard drive. It takes up so much space. I have a 320gb drive thats just for media and I am always having to clear out old stuff. Its sitting at 35Gbs free right now. They should sell TV tuners bundled with a hard drive. I think I have a problem. |

True it would take up alot of space but the price of HD's are falling and the sizes are getting bigger. You could hold roughly 100 HD movies on 3TB's of storage uncompressed. Some would think it's ridiculous. Not me though. If your gonna sink the money into storing movies and displaying them, then your probally into the high tech, best quality stuff anyway so why not shell out another $300-$400 bucks and really enjoy your movies. Just my opinion though. |
Yeah I guess if I'm willing to spend $200 plus on a GPU every year why not spend that on hard drives if movies are my thing.

I don't have the bandwidth yet to download HD quality. Frankly my tv se and dvd player would have to be upgraded too. I think regular quality will be good enough for me until I'm ready to upgrade all my electronics. |
Yeah very true. Most people don't have the bandwith to stream HD. I get spoiled by FioS. |
