Dell Announces New Inspiron 2-In-1 Notebooks And All-In-One

Tablets aren’t the only goodies Dell has in store at Computex this year. The company is rolling out new Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 notebooks and an Inspiron AIO, too. The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 features quad-core Intel Pentium (N3530) or Celeron (N2830) processors and 500GB of storage (plus 20GB of Dropbox storage) with battery life over 8 hours. It has Waves MAXXAudio technology on board, and the 360-degree hinge offers a variety of positions. The device offers a 10-point multitouch display and facial recognition software for more secure online password use.

It also has 4GB of DDR3L-1333MHz RAM; an optional DVD+/-RW optical drive; 720p HD webcam; and HDMI, USB 3.0 (x1), USB 2.0 (x2), security slot, and media card reader.

The 13.3-inch version of the 2-in-1, the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series, runs on Intel Core i3 or i5 chips and boasts a Full HD display as well as a handy built-in stylus. It has integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4GB 1066MHz or 8GB 1600MHZ DDR3L RAM, and either a standard 500GB 5400rpm HDD or 500GB 5400 rpm hybrid drive with 8GB cache.

Dell’s latest AIO is the Inspiron 20 3000 Series, an entry-level PC sporting a 19.5-inch display and Waves MAXXAudio bolstering premium speakers with an integrated subwoofer. There’s an A-frame for easy adjustability, and Dell designed the AIO so that it would be easy to move it to different rooms of the house, depending on what the family needs. It’s quite an inexpensive item, too--it starts at just $349.99, and it will be available on July 1st.

Under the hood, you can opt for a dual-core Intel Celeron N2830 or quad-core Pentium N3530 processor, Intel HD graphics, 2GB or 4GB DDR3L-1600MHz, and a 500GB 5400 rpm HDD. There’s also a 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI, three USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet jack, and more.

Finally, Dell has a trio of new UltraSharp Multimedia monitors in 27-, 23-, and 21.5-inch models. The Full HD panels have a 2MP Full HD webcam that’s ideal for Microsoft Lync applications. The displays will be available tomorrow for $449.99, $299.99, and $269.99.
