Dell Adds M14x And M18x To Alienware Family, Revises M11x

The rumors were true, and the teasers were worthwhile. Today, Dell's Alienware line grew by three, as three new gaming notebooks were launched for power-hungry users who just can't tote anything less than the best. There's even a new M18x, an 18" monster that claims to be the world's most powerful in that size. It's joined by the M14x (a nicely sized mid-range machine) and the M11x, a highly portable gaming rig that's definitely worlds away from being a netbook.

The larger two are totally new to the Alienware family, while the M11x is a revised model. All three are available with the latest Intel Core i processors, and the M18x will ship with dual GPUs and a Core i7 Extreme CPU that's overclocked from the factor to 4GHz. Yeah, 4GHz! The M18x and M14x will also offer optional wireless HD audio/video for TV streaming, and there's HDMI 1.4 for 3D support. You'll also get USB 3.0 ports, optional WiMAX and plenty of custom options to tailor make the perfect machine for you. The prices won't shock you if you're used to Alienware, but trust us: they aren't cheap.
