i wonder what there timings are |
2GB? Pssshh...thats child's play at this point! Impressive speeds thought but as frg1 said -- I wonder if we are dealing with like 9-9-9-22 timings here to achieve such a frequency |
they didnt say so figure its gonna be pretty high because if they got it low enough they would of annocened that to |
Your intuition is correct ice, they do have relatively poor latency. The timings are as follows:
TW3X2G2000C8DFNV 8-8-8-24 TW3X2G1800C7DFNV 7-7-7-20 TW3X2G1600C7DHXNV 7-7-7-20 TW3X2G1600C9DHX 9-9-9-24
***WARNING the above links are PDF's*** |

thats the reason i prefer ddr2 over ddr3 that and they cost less |
GAH! why didn't you warn me they were .pdf's? Lol Thanks for the info none-the-less......Interesting how the 2Ghz model have lower timings than does the 1.6Ghz flavor....However I am sure when DDR3 becomes mainstream the timings will follow suit but I don't think its feasible to expect less than CAS-5 (thats pushing it even). I know that ddr2 also put much less pressure on CAS and shifted a lot of it to TRAS (in terms of latency) -- does anyone happen to know if ddr3 again shifted gears ?
