Rumor has it Samsung
is getting ready to officially release its Galaxy Note 2 phone/tablet (phablet) device. Ahead of the launch, a Korean newspaper claims to have stripped any mystery away and bared the upcoming device's full monty spec sheet for all to see.
If the leaked list of parts and features is accurate, you can expect the Galaxy Note 2 to debut with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1280x720 resolution, Exynos 4412 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage, 8MP rear-facing camera, 3G/4G connectivity, and various other bits topped off with Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).
Samsung's first generation Galaxy Note device stretched the common smartphone into a phablet (half phone, half tablet).
We won't have to wait long to find out how accurate the above is. Samsung is said to be unveiling the Galaxy Note 2 at a press event on Wednesday, August 29th.
