Not sure if this will prevent or cause more accidents. A 16 yr old girl was run down by a hit and run driver here in Montreal yesterday. How do these people live with themselves after doing something like that. |

... i would be freaked if i didn't know about this before hand... and i mean not in a car but walking pass it... (Screams ghost and run) lol >> "brake-slamming accidents." Shouldn't be driving so fast in a school zone to get too much of a break slamming :D |

uhhh what's going to happen is people are going to be conditioned into seeing these images and start just blowing by them without attempt to stop... Then when the real thing happens, they will be late to react and BAM... bye bye little girl and her ball. |

If it really was 3D, I wouldn't be too surprised to hear of people uncontrollably jerking their cars onto the sidewalks to avoid the girl. This isn't 3D. |

The ultimate irony here is perhaps that, as reports say, the 3D image is being used in an attempt to jolt reckless drivers into reality. What better way to get drivers back “into reality” than by making the roads into a virtual playground where it will become increasingly difficult to tell what’s really there and what’s illusion? http://scallywagandvagabond.com/2010/09/canadian-city-to-scare-drivers-with-optical-illusions/ |
