Amped Wireless Reveals TAN1 Wi-Fi Adapter For Windows 8

Heh, what a good yet simple idea.  I've spent too much time wondering around a hotel room looking for the spot with the best signal.

Considering the pricing of 3G plans with cellular networks, wi-fi is really an optimal option for internet connectivity in terms of pricing but one of its biggest follies is that it limits where you can use a tablet to its full potential.

I wish they made devices like this for all tablets since it would improve the experience all around.

Hopefully something like this can get integrated into a case, and maybe even catch a signal through wifi and transmit it to the tablet or multiple devices through blutooth.

From what the picture shows although the device would be incredibly useful the fact it sticks off the tablet like that is a little bit awkward, and risks being snapped or broken off and requires snapping it on/off every time you took the tablet out to use it
