Amazon Adds Over a Thousand Titles to Kindle FreeTime All-You-Can-Eat Content Service For Kids

Got a Kindle? Got a kid? Amazon has you in mind, as the company announced updates to its Kindle FreeTime Unlimited content service that delivers as much kid-friendly content as they can consume.

The service originally rolled out in December of last year, and since then Amazon says it has added over a thousand titles to its lineup of books, games, movies, TV shows, and other apps, including content from Disney, Warner Brothers, Interactive Entertainment, and Electronic Arts.

The service has no in-app payment system so you don’t have to worry about Junior racking up hundreds of dollars in fees, and there are no ads or social media links, either. There’s just a flat monthly fee, too, so the kids can play with whatever they want, and you don’t have to worry about how much each thing costs. (All you have to do is keep your Kindle free of drool, snot, juice, and food from sticky fingers off. Good luck with that.)

Kindle FreeTime Unlimited is available on the current-gen Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD and costs $4.99 per month per child or $9.99 per month per family; for Amazon Prime customers, the fee is only $2.99 and $6.99 per month, respectively.
