Acer All-In-One PC Runs Android, Powered By NVIDIA's Tegra 3

This isn't your average all-in-one PC. Launching this week at IFA in Berlin, Germany is the DA241HL: the first Android-based all-in-one PC that's capable of multi-tasking, web browsing, gaming, and video playback. It's a new unit from Acer, and it's powered by NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It's boasting a 24-inch Full HD (1080p) display, as well as the latest and greatest rendition of Android -- version 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Thanks to MHL connectivity, the DA241HL can easily transmit smartphone content to a larger display for more comfortable viewing. It can also connect to any PC with Windows 8 via an HDMI port or USB cable becoming a 2-point Touch Display -- a nice extra that makes this unit highly functional.

Who in the world would want an AiO PC with Android? There's evidently such a market, as this is actually a follow-up device to Acer's first Android-based AiO. Sadly, there's no mention of a price, but it'll certainly be more affordable than those Windows 8-based rivals.
