subscribers will soon be able to purchase the LG G2
, the first U.S. smartphone to feature Qualcomm's
new Snapdragon 800
System-on-Chip (SoC). How soon? Try tomorrow, at least if you're willing to purchase the device online. Otherwise, the LG G2 will land in AT&T stores a week later on September 13.
Either way, the phone will sell for $200 with a two-year service agreement, or $27 per month with AT&T Next
, a special plan for subscribers who update frequently. With AT&T Next, you can upgrade to a new device every year with no down payment so long as you keep paying the monthly fee.
"We are always rethinking what's possible, so we can continue to offer you the most compelling products and services," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president- Devices, AT&T. "The LG G2 successfully marries innovation with performance. We're excited to welcome this unique device to our leading smartphone portfolio, on the nation's fastest and now most reliable 4G LTE network."
The LG G2 is a beastly device.
