ASUS GeForce GTX Titan Black Sneaks in a Cameo Appearance

NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 780 Ti and GTX Titan are two of the fastest graphics cards on the planet, but lest you think the company is going to rest on its laurels, it's about to launch even faster parts. There's the GeForce GTX Titan Black Edition with a pile of onboard GDDR5 memory (6GB, to be exact) and the dual-GPU GTX 790, also with 6GB. Thanks to some early listing for ASUS brand cards, we have an idea of what the early price points will be, at least overseas.

The folks at VideoCardz.com dug up a listing for the ASUS GeForce GTX Titan Black going for 974 euros (around $1,330 in U.S. currency). It lists the card as having 6GB of onboard memory, as was previously rumored. Unfortunately, there's no stock picture attached to the listing so there's a chance this could simply be a regular Titan painted black rather than NVIDIA's upcoming Black Edition, but given that a release is rumored to be just around the corner, we'd be surprised if that was the case.

ASUS will also be one of the first to offer a dual-GPU GeForce GTX 790 graphics card, as evidenced by another listing on a separate overseas online shopping site. While nothing is yet official, we're expecting both cards to debut in the U.S. at around $999, though prices could fluctuate depending on inventory and any special custom designs, such as third-party cooling solutions.
