Good afternoon HotHardware Fans! I apologize for the late start today. I've been sorting, sizing, and organizing a couple of hundred images for a huge Socket 939 motherboard round-up we have in the queue, and I lost track of the time! It's a good thing I came to my senses though, because I've got a date with the Science Channel tonight that I definitely don't want to miss. For a third-degree uber-geek like myself (I say that proudly), it doesn't get much better than watching 2 hours of Stephen Hawking discussing the origins of the universe. If you've got the time tonight, and get the Science Channel, I'd highly recommend checking out the specials tonight. Then tomorrow you can talk to all your friends about the stuff that didn't make a damn bit of sense...just like I'm going to do...
"The jet black Aopen H420 is a compact desktop chassis intended for use with MicroATX or FlexATX motherboards. It is large enough that full height AGP and PCI cards can be installed too. Depending on the application, the Aopen H420 is versatile enough to be laid horizontally, or standing in a vertical orientation. Behind a little plastic locking cover along the bottom of the bezel is a set of common multimedia ports; a headphone and mic jack, and two USB2.0 ports."
"Not so long ago we had the chance to review the 4S Steelpad. All things considered it was a fine mousepad made out of aluminum. Today, we are going to introduce you to another Steelpad...the 4D."
"Quote: At stock speeds, the Danger Den TDX and the PolarFLO TT were evenly matched. When over clocked or stressed -- the PolarFLO TT really stood out as the outstanding performer..."
"There's no integrated program guide, it doesn't tune digital TV, the FM tuner is unusable, the remote would intermittently stop working, requiring a reboot to fix. That list goes on and on. The list of basic functionality issues present in the P7000 package make it highly unattractive in the face of competing products."
"Antec is a name that many of us know from our main gaming rigs... HTPCnews.com has reviewed their PSU's in the past with fair results; however this PSU is one of their first that's aimed at Silent PC type users as well as the super power users. Antec packs this PSU full of items like modular power cables and a single 120mm fan to give it an edge over the competition. With Antec taking a departure from their normal PSU design of the past, will they have a winner on their hands?"
"How about fan controllers? Survey says... DING DING DING. One thing I have to brag on is the door and fan controller. This case allows you to install a fan controller and still shut the door. I can't tell you how thrilled I am about that. Not very many doors will let the fan controller knobs fit, but this one sure does."
OK, time to get back to work. Check back in a little later tonight for some more hardware goodness. Peace brothers and sisters.
