AMD just sent over an update on the progress of motherboard support for AMD Phenom processors for those inerested in more than just the latest AM2+ motherboards. AMD also sent info on how to check for processor support from different motherboard vendors.
AMD now has 17 motherboards listed that are recommended for use with a Phenom processor. And there are more than just the latest socket AM2+ boards on the list. Here are the boards listed on AMD's site:

I've been AMD for a long time, it's a hard habit I don't know if I want to break. The Wolfdale chips are looking pretty good, but if Intel gets any more expensive I'd have to live in the computer to afford one.
They missed the Asus M3A on the list it's Amd 770 SB600, been having pretty good luck with it. Now if they'd just give us some NB voltage it'd be nice. |
