Oh snap!!!! Tablets for an entire week???? And then an xmas give away? Best site ever! Great webcast guys, always enjoyable. I agree with Dave, the consoles need to update their hardware on a more regular schedule. 5 year old hardware doesn't cut it for today's gaming. Sandy Bridge-E got me more excited for Ivy bridge. Hope everyone has a great holiday this week. |

Happy Holidays to you as well Drake and everybody in the HotHardware crew :) |

Agree with you completely Dave; with my first gaming PC I was converted, if the game was multi-platform and I had a choice it has always been PC all the way. Maybe the answer for consoles is upgradeable graphics? |
I have to agree, though implementing upgradable graphics inside of a console where traditionally everything has been on one board is hard... I mean how are customers doing to do the upgrades to everything in the system in a way that's easy and reliable? Not to say it's not a bad idea but I feel like the only way for console to go is to significantly upgrade the RAM, upgrade the graphics so that it's at least 5 years ahead of the PC, that is until the PC catches up of course... That may change if a company can find a way to make an upgradable console though... |

Oh yea good stuff guys!!! My opinion on the Console graphics holing the PC back is that users of consoles have never experienced that WOW factor that a PC game offers. Again my 1st game to see was Unreal Tournament, Max Payne, and FarCry. Console users do not know what they are missing out on with the PC and Xbox and Sony know this and keep them in the dark and milk the consoles for all they are worth. |

Do I need to say awesome broadcast. Let me just say thank you for covering a game here or there on this site pretty cool. Do you think the processors on consoles could really saturate the hardware of today's graphics cards. I think Iyaz came up with a great point on the SSD firmware. There is open firmware for your wi-fi router and phones so pretty cool idea. I think you should make it happen Iyaz. I hope everyone enjoys the thanksgiving holiday Marcoclause is coming to town... Santas sack full of parts |
