T-Mobile Trumps AT&T's BOGO Galaxy S7 Promo And Offers Better Terms, Free Netflix

AT&T offered a rather compelling Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer yesterday for Samsung’s excellent new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge flagship smartphones. Customers would have to purchase the first smartphone (upgrade or new line) and add a second phone as a new line. Once three months of service have been completed, you’ll receive $695 in bill credits spanning the course of 30 months to fully offset the cost of a Galaxy S7 or to put towards the cost of the more expensive Galaxy S7 Edge.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere likely saw AT&T’s terms and let out an uproarious belly laugh, as the third-place wireless carrier has fired back with an even more enticing offer. T-Mobile customers can purchase a Galaxy S7 for $0 down, or a Galaxy S7 Edge for $59.99 down and get a second smartphone for free after rebate. And rather than force customer to foot the bill for the cost difference between the second Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, T-Mobile’s rebate will cover the full cost of either smartphone.

T-Mobile digs the knife in a little deeper and twists it, stating, “Unlike the other guys, we’ll reimburse you for the full amount of the edge if you choose to buy two of them, AND we’ll give you a prepaid debit card instead of $23 dollar monthly bill credits over two and a half years!”

To throw a little more fuel on the fire, T-Mobile is offering a family of four unlimited LTE data for $150 a month ($50/month for the first three line, and free for the fourth). And we can’t forget that each Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a free Samsung VR headset (along with a 6-game Oculus bundle) and a year’s subscription to Netflix.

“These new Samsung Galaxy devices are loaded with sweet new features, and when you put them on T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network, you have the best combination of cool hardware and a screaming fast network,” said Legere. “And when you come to the Un-carrier, you can upgrade the family to Samsung’s latest AND set everybody loose on our best Unlimited LTE family plan EVER for a steal.”

We should also note that anyone that has already preordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge from T-Mobile can still qualify to receive a second device for free.
