NVIDIA Board Partners ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, And EVGA Unveil GeForce GTX 1060 Cards

So far, we’ve seen numerous entries from ASUS, MSI, EVGA and Gigabyte (among others). So to make things a bit easier to follow, we’ve compiled a list of some of the cards coming out from the top graphics card manufacturers. ASUS has come to the table with five GTX 1060 cards for consumers:

ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1060 Gaming

The most potent of the five cards is the ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING, which brings customizable Aura RGB lighting to the table, dual FanConnect headers a Boost Clock of 1847MHz and an OC Boost Clock of 1873MHz.

Of course MSI had to go and one-up ASUS, launching a whopping six cards based on NVIDIA's GP106-400 core. The lineup is listed below:

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G

The GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G is the Mack Daddy of the clan with its TWIN FROZR VI cooling design, RGB LED lighting, custom 6-phase PCB design and 8-pin power connector. The card comes with a base clock of 1594MHz and boosts up to 1809MHz.

EVGA announced four new cards, two of which are standard-length cards, and two of which are compact, single-fan designs for use with Mini ITX motherboards. Right now, the compact cards are the only ones with confirmed clock speeds.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G

Gigabyte has graced us with four GTX 1060 cards, only two of which it’s willing to divulge full specs for at this time. The range-topping model is the GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G that features the WINDFORCE 2X cooler, customizable RGB lighting and tops out at 1847MHz in OC Mode. The other card of note from Gigabyte is the GeForce GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC, which features a single-fan design, and measures just 6.7 inches in length making it ideal for compact cases.

When it comes to pricing, these cards are all over the map, and if you can find one in stock, price gouging is likely to be an issue. So tread lightly as you venture off into GeForce GTX 1060 land...
