Oppo's Find 5: A 1080p Smartphone Boasting Android Jelly Bean

Oppo may not be a household name in the U.S. smartphone market, but it's a name that's certainly building up steam elsewhere. The company has just launched the new Find 5 in a slew of international markets, and it looks as if world domination is the goal. Starting in Q1 2013, the high-end phone will begin shipping for $539 (for the 32GB edition), while a $499 model will ship to those who need only 16GB of onboard storage.

It'll pack a 5" 1080p display, a quad-core S4 Pro processor, Android (Jelly Bean), loads of sensors and a 13MP Sony-sourced sensor. Those are the kinds of specifications that'll make power users drool, and if it delivers, it could put Oppo's name on more maps than it is right now.

Looks like 1080p Android race just got a bit more heated.
