HTC Desire 530 Budget Android Smartphone Hits Verizon And T-Mobile With a Micro Splash
HTC is hitting the smartphone market with a splash - a micro splash that is. The company just released the HTC Desire 530, a phone with a retro-style micro splash finish and respectable audio and camera systems.

The new HTC Desire 530 is the most unique Desire available – combining our micro splash finish with impressive audio and high quality cameras, all at an incredible price.”
The Desire 530 boasts a 5 megapixel front-facing camera that features “Auto Selfie” and “Voice Selfie”. These modes allow users to be able to take pictures without having to push buttons. The rear-facing 8 megapixel camera has a built-in BSI sensor that increases the amount of light captured in photos. There are also additional features like burst shot and sweep panorama. The Photo Editor will bring editing chops, while Google Photos will provide unlimited storage for photos and videos.
The phone also comes with comes with a HTC BoomSound profile and a high quality amp that boosts volume and bass without distorting the sound. The Desire 530 will feature a 5-inch HD display, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and runs Android 6.0.
Users will be able to change the look and feel of their phone using personal photo with HTC Themes. They will be alter everything from the shape and size of icons, ringtones, and wallpapers. Users will also be offered apps based on their location through HTC Sense Home. HTC Blink Feed will offer the latest entertainment and news, social posts, event notifications, and even mealtime recommendations.
The Desire 530 comes in Blue Lagoon, Sprinkle White or Stratus White and will be available in prepaid and postpaid versions from U.S. wireless providers T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, in addition to HTC.com. It is currently available for roughly $166 USD (£129.00 GBP) and an unlocked version of Sprinkle White will be available for $179 later this month.
