Deus Ex: Mankind Divided PC System Specs Revealed On Steam
Developer Eidos Montreal is putting the final touches on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided before publisher Square Enix releases the cyberpunk thriller in about a week and a half. If you're wondering whether or not your PC has the goods to run the title, minimum and recommended system specs are now on Steam, as well information about preloading the title prior to its release.
Anyone with a relatively modern PC should be able to run Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The minimum requirements aren't that steep, calling for the following:
- OS:Windows 7 64-bit w/ SP1
- CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- RAM: 8GB of RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2GB) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2GB)
- HDD/SSD: 45GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K or AMD FX 8350 Wraith
- RAM: 16GB
- Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 480 (1920x1080) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (1920x1080)
- HDD/SSD: 55GB (including DLC)
Note that Eidos bumps the OS up to Windows 10 for its recommended specs and that's because the game supports DirectX 12 visuals. As you know, DX12 is a feature exclusive to Microsoft's newest OS.
It's also interesting to see the higher storage requirement for DLC. Eidos and Square Enix haven't said much about forthcoming DLC, though there is a Season Pass available for an additional $30 above the cost of the game itself.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a sequel to the 2011 Deus Ex: Human Revolution title and takes place two years after those events. Protagonist Adam Jensen returns, this time with new technology and mechanical body augmentations at his disposal.
The game is available on Steam for $60, or $90 for the Digital Deluxe Edition bundle that includes the Season Pass. Steam is also offering bundles that come with its Steam Controller.
