5.5-Inch LG Optimus G Pro Unveiled, Jelly Bean Driven

We're counting down the days to Mobile World Congress 2013 and getting excited about the new products that are sure to be revealed at the show. It appears LG couldn't contain its excitement before the show however and has confirmed its hot new LG Optimus G Pro. The company hasn't released a ton of information about the Optimus G Pro (we're assuming the full details will be revealed at the show), but confirmation that this device is coming is encouraging.

Although details are still relatively sparse concerning this phablet, LG has said it will feature a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display with curved glass. According to LG, this curved glass display gives the phone a "2.5D effect." The LG Optimus G Pro is also expected to feature a quad-core processor.

Earlier rumors have suggested this phablet will have 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera, 4G LTE connectivity, a microSD card slot, and a 3,140 mAh battery. LG could launch the Optimus G Pro in some markets by the end of this month.  Stay tuned for more details when LG reveals them at Mobile World Congress.
