Sony Posts Mammoth Sized FAQ, Answers 160 Questions Related to PlayStation 4

Almost everything you could possibly want to know about the PlayStation 4 can be found in a massive FAQ posted by Sid Shuman, Sony's Social Media Manager. The title of the document is "PS4: The Ultimate FAQ," a fitting description for a question and answer guide that spans 11 different categories and covers 160 topics.

So, what hidden and/or controversial clarifications might you find? To start with, the PS4 is rocking a 5400 RPM SATA II hard drive, which you're welcome to replace so long as it complies with those standards, is no thicker than 9.5mm, and is larger than 160GB. Unfortunately, the PS4 does not support external storage, so swapping out the hard drive is the only way to gain more storage down the line, if you need it.

Sony said it's still considering support for high-resolution 4K output for still images and movie content, but not for games. More controversial (and perhaps more disappointing to some) is that the PS4 also doesn't support DLNA, so don't make any plans to stream audio or video from your PC. And while we're discussing what the PS4 can't or won't do, you can add playing CDs and MP3 files to the list. If you want to listen to music on your PS4, you'll have to get it from Sony's Music Unlimited service.

As for games at launch, it's a rather modest list at this point consisting of 5 titles from Sony, 11 titles from third-party developers (Angry Birds Star Wars being one of them), and 5 from independent studios.
