Ironically, Sony Meets Thief’s End As Multiple Copies Of Uncharted 4 Are Stolen
There's already been a fair amount of drama surrounding Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, a PlayStation 4 exclusive and the fourth and final installment in the Uncharted series starring Nathan Drake that's seen numerous delays. At long last, it was finally set to launch on May 10, 2016, though an untold number of copies were recently stolen while in transit, paving the way for spoilers, Sony President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida warned today.
"We know that very many of you have been looking forward with great anticipation and excitement to the latest masterpiece from Naughty Dog. From what I have played of Nathan Drake’s latest adventure, I can tell you that it is very much worth the wait," Yoshida stated in a blog post. "As with most Naughty Dog games, the unfolding story is such an integral part of the experience and for this reason we wanted to warn you to beware of the potential for spoilers to be posted by people with access to stolen copies of the game."
Yoshida didn't say how many copies thieves managed to swipe, though he did reveal that a "few" of them have surfaced in the U.K. That seems to have been confirmed by VideoGamer, which notes two instances of Uncharted 4 being sold to customers ahead of its release, along with listings appearing on auction site eBay. In one of the instances, it was a second-hand store called CEX that sold what might have been a stolen copy, and it doesn't seem too concerned about it.

"An extremely talented team has worked long and hard to bring Nathan Drake’s greatest adventure to life and we would urge you to help us prevent this from being spoilt by not purchasing copies of the game ahead of the launch date," Yoshida added.
There's an ongoing investigation into the matter, but so far no mention of a suspect.
