Vizio's 58" VXT CinemaWide 21:9 HDTV Arriving At $3,499

How much would you pay for a 21:9 CinemaWide LCD TV? Or, maybe we should ask: how little would you pay? Philips already revealed one of these sets in the past year for TV owners who just love watching ultra-wide movies, and now Vizio -- the low-cost TV king -- is getting into the same game. The XVT 3D CinemaWide will soon arrive as a 58" beast (with 50" and 71" models planed) with a 2,560 x 1,080 resolution and a $3,499 price. One on hand, that's far more expensive than most other 58" sets, but on the other, it's not like Vizio has a lot of competition with this aspect ratio.

Other specifications include a 120Hz Edge LED lit display, Theater 3D support, built-in Wi-Fi and Vizio Internet Apps. All that worth $3.5k to you? It'll be out soon, so make up your mind quickly!
